Tuesday, August 11 is our first-ever NCPS Transition Day, and it is only for Pre-K, Kindergarten, 6th-grade, and 9th-grade students.
On Transition Day, students will ride their regular school bus, enjoy breakfast and lunch, meet their teachers, experience their daily schedule and classes, and become familiar with their new school before all students return.
Pre-K and Kindergarten students will attend from 7:50 a.m. to 12:10 p.m., and
6th- and 9th-grade students will attend from 8:05 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Bus transportation will be provided for these students.
Again, Transition Day is only for Pre-K, Kindergarten, 6th-grade, and 9th-grade students, and it is a school day for these grades only. All other students will begin school on Wednesday, August 12.
