I am honored and privileged to have the opportunity to serve as your Division Superintendent.  I look forward to meeting students, parents, and staff.  I am excited about being part of Nelson and attending various school and community events.  I appreciate the support of all of our families.  I look forward to a great future together in Nelson County.

I am beginning my 20th year in education.  I received my Bachelor of Arts and Masters's degree from the University of Richmond where I also played basketball as well as track and field.  I earned my Admin and Supervision degree from Virginia Commonwealth University and my Doctorate of Administration and Supervision from the University of Virginia.  During my career, I have taught World History and Government in Henrico County, served as a high school assistant principal and high school associate principal in Henrico County, a high school principal in Spotsylvania County, and assistant superintendent for instruction in Louisa County.

Again, I look forward to a great future in Nelson County Public Schools. The engagement and support of our community will be critical to our success.  I am excited about this opportunity and will work hard to serve all of our students, staff, and families and celebrate all of our accomplishments.
