2018 Smyth Foundation Award Nomination

Over 20 years ago now, Gordon & MaryBeth Smyth agreed to sponsor an annual award program whereby 10 of our brightest stars would be recognized for going above and beyond the call of duty during the school year.

The past winners are like a "Who's Who" list of Nelson County employees who gave of themselves for the betterment of Nelson County Schools and our community.

Nominations can come from parents, students, co-workers or community members. Please take a moment to recognize a person whom you know went the extra mile.  Note the due date of April 13, 2018.

Eligible nominees include any full-time employee of Nelson County School Board with the exception of the Administrative Staff.

Recipients of the award are given a check for $1,000 and a plaque to recognize their outstanding accomplishment.  These awards are given during Convocation at the start of the next school year.

Complete your nomination now!

What a way to start the year off right!
